World Bank praises Vietnam’s economic growth prospects |

In its recent “Global Economic Prospects” report, the World Bank says Vietnam, together with 5 other emerging economies, will experience high economic growth this year and in years to come. 
The World Bank praised Vietnam&rsquos efforts to boost growth, accelerate privatization, and keep pace with neighboring countries. In recent years, the Vietnamese government has accelerated privatization. The state sector now accounts for 40% of the national economy. The proportion of agriculture reduced to 18% of GDP and the rest was taken up by the production and service sectors. Vietnam&rsquos private sector is growing thanks to an increasing population and labor force. Salaries have increased and prices remained stable.
